Can the EC4 Camera be used alone? No, the camera must be used with the hub for a more stable connection. Each hub can connect up to 5 cameras.
Is the Solar Panel sold separately? Yes, the solar panel is sold separately and currently enjoys a 20% discount. The solar panel only works for the EC4 Camera, not any other models.
Is it a battery cam wireless? Yes, the camera is wireless, with no need to connect to a power line. The Smarthub needs to connect to the router wirelessly or via LAN (included).
Do I have to subscribe to a cloud service to use it? No! Cloud Storage is optional. Any user can use the camera without subscribing to cloud storage, and new users will enjoy 15 months of free cloud storage for recording event videos triggered within the last 7 days (up to 9 seconds long).
How to set up? 1. Download the IMILAB Home App, sign up & log in. 2. Plug in the hub power adapter and connect to the router. 3. Add the hub on the App, then tap the '+' button to add the camera, following the app instructions.
