The EC4 Battery Cam also boasts intelligent people and pet detection, accurate alarms, and voice assistance for easy live view and footage access. You can choose between a micro SD card (not included) or cloud storage, with 15 months of free cloud storage for new users.
The EC4 Battery Cam can be used alone, but the smart hub is required for a more stable connection. The solar panel, which is sold separately and currently enjoys a 20% discount, can be used to charge the camera and extend its battery life.
The camera is wireless, and there is no need to connect to a power line. The smart hub can be connected to the router wirelessly or through a LAN connection. Cloud storage is optional, and new users can enjoy 15 months of free cloud storage for recording event videos triggered within the last 7 days.
To set up the EC4 Battery Cam, you need to download the IMILAB Home App, sign up and log in, plug in the hub power adapter and connect it to the router, add the hub to the app, and then follow the app instructions to add the camera.
